Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Legal Operations Specialist to support US-based legal teams. The role involves handling legal documentation, legal hold management, engagement letters, settlement payment coordination, and ensuring compliance with US legal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and manage legal hold notices in accordance with US litigation and eDiscovery requirements.
Prepare and review engagement letters for external legal counsel.
Coordinate settlement payment requests and maintain related documentation.
Ensure compliance with US legal standards, company policies, and internal procedures.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and external counsel to support legal operations.
Maintain accurate legal records, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of US litigation, legal operations, and eDiscovery.
Experience with legal documentation, engagement letters, and settlement processes.
Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity or Exterro.
Knowledge of compliance and workflow management systems.
Exposure to corporate legal operations or law firm environments handling US matters.
Qualifications
LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
5–10 years of relevant experience in legal operations, litigation support, or corporate legal services.
