About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Team Lead – Buyer to manage frontline operations within our Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain. In this role, you will lead a team enabling strategic solutions, overseeing day-to-day procurement execution, and ensuring full compliance with contract objectives. The ideal candidate brings rich experience in Sourcing & Procurement, direct vendor management across domestic and international markets, and strong team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Contract Management:
- Oversee day-to-day contract administration and procurement activities to ensure operational, functional, and business objectives are met profitably.
- Monitor delivery, quality standards, and exception handling across supply chain workflows.
- Proactively identify, track, and manage potential operational risks and supply bottlenecks.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor team members, facilitating employee assessments and optimal workflow distribution.
- Monitor operational performance and lead internal review cycles with team members and executive leadership.
- Drive process training, onboarding, and continuous skill building across the team.
Client & Vendor Relationship Management:
- Serve as a key operational contact for managing client relationships and driving high customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring swift root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Collaborate with both domestic and international suppliers and stakeholders.

Required Domain & Technical Skills

SCM Domain Expertise: 5 to 7+ years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically within Sourcing & Procurement.
Global Exposure: Demonstrated experience dealing directly with domestic and international suppliers/customers.
ERP Exposure: Prior working experience or familiarity with Sourcing/Procurement modules in Oracle, SAP, or enterprise ERP systems.
Tools: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and workflow tracking.

Soft Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team collaboration, conflict resolution, and leadership capabilities.
Dedicated focus on documentation, process standardization, and knowledge sharing.
Strong result-orientation with the ability to navigate fast-paced procurement environments.
