Direct Sourcing Specialist

Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 2–7 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Direct Sourcing Specialist to support direct procurement activities for materials and components. The role involves sourcing events, supplier coordination, commercial analysis, purchase tracking, supplier performance management, and ensuring sourcing activities meet quality, cost, service, and compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Execute sourcing events for assigned direct procurement categories.
Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, bids, commercial discussions, and negotiation support.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements, specifications, and service expectations.
Support supplier evaluation, onboarding, and documentation activities.
Prepare commercial comparisons and maintain sourcing records.
Track purchase commitments, delivery schedules, and supply-related issues.
Maintain supplier data, contracts, pricing records, and other procurement documentation.
Analyze spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance to identify savings opportunities.
Participate in supplier review meetings and follow up on performance gaps and action plans.
Support escalation management and ensure timely resolution of supplier issues.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, delegated authority, and audit requirements.
Identify and support process improvements across sourcing and supplier management workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–7 years of experience in Direct Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, or Category Management.
Experience in supplier coordination and procurement operations.
Strong understanding of sourcing and supplier management processes.
Experience in spend analysis and commercial evaluation.
Knowledge of negotiation and contract tracking.
Good proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
Exposure to ERP systems.
Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
