Job Title: Shift Manager – Global Freight Forwarding Operations

Location: Mumbai (On-site only)

Experience: 4–8 years

Salary: ₹11 – 16 LPA

We are a leading international freight forwarding company looking for an experienced and hands-on Shift Manager to lead one of our high-volume operational shifts (Export / Booking / Import) in Mumbai.

This is a critical leadership role in a fast-paced, 24/7 global logistics environment where you will directly manage a team of 10–20 executives, drive operational excellence, ensure profitability per shipment, and maintain the highest standards of service delivery across ocean (FCL/LCL) and air freight.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end shift management for sea and/or air freight shipments

Team handling, performance monitoring, scheduling, training & coaching

Shipment coordination, documentation, customs compliance, vendor management & issue resolution

First point of escalation for operational challenges

Driving KPIs – on-time performance, documentation accuracy, customer satisfaction

Monitoring revenue per job, cost control, invoicing accuracy & profitability

Ensuring data integrity in internal systems (BO, CRM platforms like Salesforce, etc.)

Must-Have Requirements

4+ years of core operations experience in freight forwarding/logistics (ocean and/or air)

Minimum 2 years in a supervisory / team leader / shift-in-charge role within freight forwarding or shipping lines

Hands-on experience in shipment coordination, vendor communication, documentation & issue resolution

Previously managed a team size of 10–20 members

Excellent English communication (spoken & written)

Graduation is mandatory

Currently based in Mumbai and able to join within 30–45 days
