Job Description
Are you fluent in Japanese and interested in building a career in Financial Research, Data Analysis, and Market Intelligence?
We are hiring a Japanese Data Analyst to support global financial research and data analytics projects. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Japanese language proficiency, excellent analytical skills, and an interest in financial markets, research, and data management.
You will work with financial reports, company disclosures, market research documents, and global business information to build and maintain high-quality financial databases.
Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities
Conduct web-based research on global companies, industries, and financial markets.
Analyze financial reports, annual reports, regulatory filings, and research documents.
Collect, interpret, validate, and tag financial data into internal systems.
Maintain high-quality financial databases with complete accuracy.
Research market trends, business information, and corporate disclosures.
Interpret financial information and summarize research findings.
Work with financial research documents and company reports.
Build knowledge of financial regulations and global market practices.
Perform document research and web research to support financial analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with international clients.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Follow client guidelines and operational procedures while meeting productivity and quality targets.
Required Qualifications
Japanese language proficiency (E2 level or equivalent) is mandatory.
1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Financial Research, Market Research, or similar analytical roles.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent web research and information gathering abilities.
Good interpretation and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Management Studies, or related disciplines (B.Com, BAF, BMS, MBA Finance preferred).
Candidates from other educational backgrounds with strong Japanese and English communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
Experience working with Financial Research documents.
Knowledge of Financial Markets, Supply Chain, Corporate Research, or Business Research.
Understanding of global financial regulations.
Experience in data tagging, financial databases, or research analytics.
