Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor to join a growing finance team.

Work Setup

Hybrid setup after training (2–3 months of onsite training)
Work Location: McKinley, Taguig
Night Shift
Start Date: ASAP
Signing Bonus Available

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post accurate journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identifying trends and variances.
Manage and manipulate large financial datasets for reporting and analysis.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting requirements.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing the necessary documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (required)
CPA is preferred, but non-CPA candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply
At least 4 years of accounting experience
Strong communication skills
Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Proven experience handling large datasets and data manipulation
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in:
- General Ledger Management
- Journal Entry Preparation
- Trial Balance
- Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
- Contra Asset Accounts
- Account Reconciliation
- Financial Reporting
- Invoice Preparation
- Accruals
- Bank Reconciliation (multi-currency experience is an advantage)
- Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Close
- Financial Analysis
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables
