Job Description:
The USRN Trainer facilitates clinical training for new and tenured staff, ensuring alignment with client requirements and U.S. healthcare regulations. This role develops clinical competency and supports operational readiness through effective instruction and evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training Delivery: Conduct New Hire Training across clinical programs like Utilization Management, Case Management, and Triage using structured adult learning methodologies for virtual and hybrid environments.
Curriculum Development: Create and update training modules, assessments, and simulations, ensuring content reflects current clinical guidelines, HIPAA, and internal policies.
Evaluation & Coaching: Perform knowledge assessments and practical evaluations. Provide documented feedback and support transition-to-production phases.
Documentation: Maintain accurate training records and submit performance reports to stakeholders while ensuring strict compliance with protocols.
Continuous Improvement: Identify learning gaps, conduct refresher sessions, and participate in audits and calibration to enhance instructional quality and clinical accuracy.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
* Active, unrestricted U.S. Registered Nurse (USRN) license.
* 2–3 years clinical bedside experience (e.g., ER, ICU, Med-Surg).
* 1+ year as a USRN Trainer in BPO or U.S. Healthcare.
* Proficiency in MCG/Milliman, InterQual, and HIPAA.
* Experience in training, clinical education, or curriculum design.
* Strong English communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
* Ability to work on-site, remote, or hybrid.
