Technical Lead
We are looking for a Technical Lead with experience in J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) and its core components and e-commerce. The candidate must be willing to report onsite at least 3x a week in Alabang.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the development team is familiar with and follows SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
- Integrate existing software into new systems or modify existing systems as needed.
- Ensure seamless communication and data flow between different software components.
- Use project management tools to track progress and manage deliverables.
- Monitor and adapt to changes in project scope or requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years overall experience in programming, technology, and software development.
- 5+ years of experience working with J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) and its core components brings a wealth of expertise in building robust and scalable enterprise-level applications.
- 5+ years working experience in E-Commerce.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Lead the design, customization, and development of e-commerce solutions.
- Proficiency in Java programming language, version 11.
- Develop and test functionalities based on J2EE and HCL 9.1 framework (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in the implementation of international eCommerce high-trafficked sites.
- Knowledge of REST principles, HTTP methods, status codes, and API versioning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Experience in HCL Commerce is a big plus (at least version 8.0, version 9.1 is preferred). Alternative experience in eCommerce enterprise platforms like SAP/Hybris or ElasticPath is welcome.
- Experience in e-commerce Web service development to support the Headless Front-End paradigm.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6 features.
- Candidate must be amenable to reporting on client site in Alabang at least 3x a week
