Senior Azure Data Engineer
Taguig City (Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite)
Full-time | Mid to Night Shift
PHP 90,000 – 120,000/month

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our Digitalization & Automation Services Team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, and modern data pipeline architecture. You will work closely with our development and service delivery teams to design, build, and optimize data solutions in a hybrid setup based in McKinley, Taguig.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize data storage and ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Build and maintain data pipelines and analytics tools leveraging Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL.
Implement and manage Azure Databricks Notebooks, Azure Functions, and Azure Key Vault.
Participate in migration and modernization projects to move legacy data systems into cloud-based architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and promote production-ready code.
Contribute to solution design, delivery optimization, and reusable component development.
Ensure data integration, transformation, and consolidation across multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years as an Azure Data Engineer (with at least 1 year in Databricks and PySpark).
Strong background in:
Azure Functions, Data Factory, SQL, Key Vault
Azure Databricks, Notebooks, Data Lake, and Data Lake Storage
-Hands-on experience with migration/modernization projects.
-Knowledge of Agile methodology, Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), and Autosys/batch scripting.
-Exposure to streaming platforms (Kafka, Solace), Azure App Services, Stream Analytics, and Power BI is a plus.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
-Amenable to hybrid work setup (2–3 days onsite in Taguig) and mid-to-night shift schedule.
