Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mid SharePoint Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint-based applications. The role requires direct interaction with solution owners, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. You will also contribute to process improvements, business development initiatives, and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain SharePoint solutions following best practices.

Provide production support and ensure application availability.

Gather requirements from application owners and onshore clients.

Test, deploy, and document solutions across all environments.

Work according to EMEA time zone and calendar (including public holidays).

Customize SharePoint sites, hub navigation, and workflows using client- and server-side technologies.

Develop web services and APIs (XML/JSON).

Apply Agile methodologies and participate in change management, incident handling, and disaster recovery processes.

Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

4+ years of development experience on the Microsoft .NET Platform, including both application development and maintenance.

Experience with .Net 3.5 Framework.

SharePoint 2016/2019 server-side customizations, including:
- Custom Web Parts
- SharePoint Object Model (SOM)
- Custom list definitions and instances
- Familiarity with SQL (queries, stored procedures, tables)

2+ years of experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) strategies.

Experience with SharePoint setup, administration, and customization.

Client-side development experience: JSOM, SharePoint REST, CSR, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. Knowledge of Bootstrap/AngularJS is a plus.

Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Azure, SharePoint Migration is a plus.

Familiarity with tools: Visual Studio / VS Code, Azure DevOps, SQL Management Studio, GitHub, Miro or Visio.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, ITIL practices, and structured environments.

Excellent communication skills; able to interact with onshore clients and team members.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Non-Negotiable:

Must have 4+ years of .NET development experience.

Must have experience with SharePoint 2016/2019 server-side customizations.

Must have ALM experience.

Must not be a current or former CGI employee.

Must demonstrate stability (not a job hopper).

Preferred Qualifications:

SharePoint Server Subscription Edition experience.

Power Automate and Azure experience.

SharePoint Online experience.

Knowledge of Bootstrap and AngularJS.
