Firewall Specialist

Location: Quezon City
Work Setup: Hybrid (2 Days WFH & 3 Days RTO)
Shift: Morning to Mid Shift
Experience: 8+ Years
Salary: PHP 170,000 – 176,000 per month
Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Firewall Specialist to support network security operations, firewall migrations, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in firewall technologies, routing and switching, network security, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Execute firewall application migration projects and related activities.
Configure, deploy, and manage firewall policies and security rules.
Support network infrastructure migration initiatives within secured environments.
Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned network delivery projects.
Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and controls.
Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
Provide handover support to operations teams after project completion.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network and firewall-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong experience with firewall technologies:
- FortiGate
- Cisco ASA
Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco Routers
- Cisco Switches
Good understanding of network security concepts and firewall policy management.
Basic knowledge of SD-WAN is an advantage.

Professional Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in network security and firewall administration.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant networking certifications in:
- Routing & Switching
- Firewall Technologies
- Network Security
