Telecom Network Planning Associate – Ethernet Planning

Location: Hyderabad | Kolkata | Chennai
Experience: 1–5 Years
Shift: UK Shifts primarily; candidates must be comfortable working in 24x7 shifts

About the Role

We are looking for motivated telecom professionals with strong communication skills and an understanding of network planning, customer delivery, and telecom order management. The role involves supporting enterprise customers through the end-to-end delivery of Ethernet and Fibre services while coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful network planning and service activation.

Candidates with experience in FTTx, Ethernet provisioning, network planning, service delivery, telecom operations, or customer-facing functions are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate confidently with customers and senior stakeholders.
Manage customer interactions through calls, virtual meetings, and written communication.
Coordinate engineering visit appointments and installation readiness.
Manage customer expectations and provide proactive order updates.
Handle customer escalations professionally.
Coordinate with field engineers, planners, delivery teams, service managers, and external partners.
Manage telecom orders throughout the complete delivery lifecycle.
Track planning, survey, design, build, commissioning, and service activation milestones.
Identify delivery blockers, dependencies, and risks.
Support order orchestration and delivery assurance activities.
Participate in customer governance calls and operational reviews.
Provide concise business and technical updates to customers and leadership.
Maintain operational tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills

Excellent spoken and written English communication.
Strong customer handling and voice support experience.
Understanding of telecom order lifecycle and service delivery processes.
Knowledge of Ethernet and Fibre network concepts.
Experience in FTTX/FTTP planning or delivery environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer orders simultaneously.
Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and operational tracking.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience in Telecom Planning and Delivery projects.
Exposure to OSS/BSS systems.
Understanding of network inventory tools.
Knowledge of telecom provisioning and assurance processes.
Experience working with UK, European, or global telecom operators.
Familiarity with service activation, commissioning, and network build processes.
Experience in customer-facing operational environments.

Experience

1–5 years of experience in Telecom Operations, Network Planning, Ethernet Delivery, Fibre Planning, Service Delivery, or Customer Experience Management.

Education

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Full-time graduates with relevant experience may also apply.
