Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Financial Master Data Management

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Financial Master Data Management to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Financial Master Data Management (MDM), Oracle ERP, Vendor & Customer Master Data, Chart of Accounts (COA), governance, compliance, and stakeholder management. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, driving governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with SOX controls, and optimizing financial master data processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Financial Master Data Management activities.
Maintain and govern Vendor Master, Customer Master, Chart of Accounts (COA), Business Units, Cost Centers, Legal Entities, and Department Hierarchies.
Act as the functional owner for financial master data within Oracle ERP.
Perform master data configurations, mass uploads, and data mapping using FBDI, WebADI, or ADFDI templates.
Define and enforce Master Data Governance policies, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and SOX controls.
Lead Supplier and Vendor Master governance across multiple entities.
Support Oracle ERP enhancements, system optimization, and process automation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and SLA commitments.
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT, and internal stakeholders to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
Prepare reports and perform advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3).
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
CPA, CFA, or MBA is an added advantage.
4–8 years of experience in Financial Master Data Management.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ERP.
Expertise in:
- Financial Master Data Management (MDM)
- Vendor & Customer Master Data
- Chart of Accounts (COA) & Hierarchies
- Business Units, Cost Centers & Legal Entities
- SOX & Segregation of Duties (SoD) Controls
- Internal Controls & Audits
- SLA & Team Management
- Stakeholder Management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills

Experience with FBDI, WebADI, or ADFDI templates.
Knowledge of Oracle ERP enhancements and system optimization.
Experience implementing master data governance frameworks.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
