SAS Programmer
Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAS Programmer with strong clinical data and SAS programming expertise to support clinical studies, regulatory submissions, data quality, and reporting activities. The candidate will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality clinical programming outputs with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical programming activities using SAS and Spotfire.
Apply clinical data knowledge to support study and reporting requirements.
Lead or co-lead clinical programming activities for clinical studies and regulatory submissions.
Develop and maintain SAS macros, templates, and utilities for data cleaning and reporting.
Participate in project team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Review documents such as Issue Logs, Change Control Forms, and Extraction Plans for accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness of requested changes.
Provide feedback and recommendations on data and programming requirements.
Perform quality control of final reports and programming deliverables.
Establish and monitor data transfers for ongoing clinical trials to identify study conduct and data quality issues.
Support project delivery with minimal supervision and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Contribute to project planning, tracking, and coordination activities.
Required Skills
Strong SAS Programming experience.
Knowledge of Clinical Data and clinical research processes.
Experience with Spotfire programming/analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently drive projects and manage priorities.
Strong quality-control and attention-to-detail skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in RBQM (Risk-Based Quality Management).
Medical/Safety Analytics experience.
Clinical trial programming experience.
Experience supporting regulatory submissions.
Strong Project Management skills.
Experience with data cleaning, reporting, and data transfer monitoring.
Qualifications & Eligibility
Graduation is compulsory.
PAN and Date of Birth (DOB) will be required for employee profile creation in the database.
Former and/or current TCS/Tata employees are not eligible for this position.
