We are hiring an experienced Procurement & Vendor Master Lead to manage end-to-end transactional procurement operations and vendor management processes. This is a people management role ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced BPO/shared services environments and are committed to maintaining high accuracy and service quality standards.
What You'll Do:
- Validate incoming requisitions and convert them to Purchase Orders (POs) with all required approvals and checklists in place
- Monitor, follow up, and confirm POs; handle PO amendments after stakeholder communication
- Run standard reports on reporting tools and maintain dashboards for procurement metrics
- Resolve queries from both requesters and suppliers via email and phone in a timely manner
- Expedite POs to ensure on-time fulfillment and minimal supply chain disruption
- Identify and resolve exceptions, escalate issues where needed
- Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on quality, accuracy, and Turnaround Time (TAT)
- Lead, guide, and support the team to meet daily operational targets
What We're Looking For:
- 5–10 years of experience in transactional procurement and vendor management, preferably in a BPO or shared services setup
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially SAP
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proven people management skills with the ability to mentor and drive team performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder management
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- A collaborative team player who takes ownership and works well under pressure
