We are Hiring: Data Analyst (Portuguese Language Specialist)

A leading global organization is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Data Analyst (Portuguese) to join our finance process in Thane. If you combine robust finance and accounting expertise with professional Portuguese language skills, this role offers an exceptional path to work with international financial markets.

Role Overview

Job Code: 416930

Location: Thane

Overall Experience: 5–8 Years (with 1–3 years specifically in the Finance & Accounting domain)

Band/Grade: BPO 2 / BPO 3 Equivalent

Salary: Up to 9 LPA

Shift: Rotational and Night Shifts (based on business requirements)

Key Responsibilities (Job Description)

Financial Analysis & Interpretation: Research, review, and interpret financial statements and broker reports of large global corporations.

Data Extraction: Extract key data points from Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements (e.g., Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Shares, Income Before Tax, one-time charges).

Market Intelligence: Document future financial estimates and guidance from press releases, earnings calls, and company presentations.

Accounting & Processing: Perform transaction- and rule-based processing, including data verification, formatting, and complex reconciliations (system-to-system, balancing, open item management).

Web & Document Research: Combine deep web research skills with financial document analysis to maintain database integrity.

Stakeholder Management: Engage in regular client interactions and collaborate actively with team members.

Requirements & Qualifications

Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in Portuguese (written and verbal) paired with excellent English communication skills.

Core Competencies: Strong understanding of core accounting concepts, financial workflows, analytical thinking, and learning agility.

Education: B.Com, BAF, BMS, or MBA in Finance is highly preferred. Open to graduates from other streams if language and English skills are exceptional.

Preferred Certifications: Stock market certifications (NISM / CMSA, etc.) or IFRS certifications will be a distinct advantage.
