Job Title : Italian Procurement Operations Specialist | P2P | Supply Chain | New Delhi

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Italian Procurement Operations Specialist with strong Italian language proficiency and knowledge of Procurement Operations, Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Supply Chain, and Purchase Order (PO) processing. This role involves supporting global procurement operations by processing procurement requests, validating purchase requisitions, creating purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Operations & Purchase-to-Pay (P2P)

Process procurement requests while ensuring compliance with internal policies and client requirements.
Review Purchase Requisitions (PR) and validate procurement documentation.
Support Purchase Order (PO) creation and procurement transactions.
Perform procurement due diligence and validation checks.
Process procurement requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Monitor productivity, quality, and operational accuracy.
Perform peer quality checks to minimize processing errors.
Follow up on pending procurement requests and ensure timely closure.

Supply Chain Operations

Support procurement and supply chain operations for global business units.
Maintain procurement records and transaction accuracy.
Ensure compliance with procurement processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support process improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Handle procurement-related customer and supplier queries.

Italian Language Support

Read, interpret, and communicate procurement documents in Italian.
Support Italian-speaking stakeholders by providing language assistance during procurement operations.
Participate in business calls and collaborate with international teams.
Ensure clear communication between internal teams and Italian-speaking clients.

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Resolve procurement-related operational queries.
Escalate unresolved issues following established escalation procedures.
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and supply chain teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Procurement Operations, Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Supply Chain Operations, or Procurement Shared Services.
Italian language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
Good understanding of:
- Procurement Operations
- Purchase-to-Pay (P2P)
- Purchase Requisition (PR)
- Purchase Order (PO)
- Supply Chain Operations
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in rotational night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Procurement Shared Services.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
Experience supporting global procurement operations.
Exposure to supplier management and procurement compliance.
Familiarity with procurement documentation and workflow management.
