Role/Skill: HRIS Specialist

Salary: ₹9 – 17 LPA
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced HRIS Specialist with strong expertise in Workday, particularly across Absence Management, Benefits, and Talent Management modules. The role involves end-to-end support, configuration, governance, troubleshooting, release management, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform while partnering with global HR stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
Provide L1 support, troubleshooting, and user assistance.
Support UAT activities and testing cycles.
Maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, FAQs, and Quick Reference Guides (QRGs).
Support communications related to system changes and updates.
Conduct advanced L2/L3 troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Resolve configuration, integration, and process-related issues.
Perform issue replication in sandbox environments and implement corrective actions.
Workday Configuration & System Administration
Configure and maintain business processes, eligibility rules, notifications, validations, and routing logic.
Develop and manage calculated fields.
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday reports and dashboards.
Build and govern EIB templates, field mappings, and upload processes.
Release Management
Review Workday release notes and assess business impacts.
Recommend feature enablement based on organizational requirements.
Define and execute regression testing and UAT plans.
Coordinate testing activities with global stakeholders.
Implement release-related configuration updates.
New Business Unit Onboarding
Gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
Support configuration, reporting, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.
Manage cutover planning and post-go-live support.
Deliver training and change management support.
Continuous Improvement & Enhancements
Evaluate and prioritize HRIS enhancement opportunities.
Drive adoption of new Workday capabilities.
Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards and roadmap.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of HRIS experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on Workday experience and exposure to PeopleSoft.
Strong configuration experience in:
Absence Management

EIBs
Security Configuration
Experience managing global Workday releases and UAT cycles.
Strong understanding of HR processes and policy translation into system configurations.
Experience supporting global stakeholders and country-specific requirements.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
