General Ledger (RTR) – Project Costing

Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 3–7 Years

Education

Graduate with 3–7+ years of experience in Project Costing, general bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Good understanding of general accounting processes and reporting.

Key Skills

Strong analytical and communication skills.
Strong treasury background with the ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
End-to-end knowledge of general accounting processes.
Good domain expertise in accounting and project costing.
Result-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work cooperatively with team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong reconciliation and journal entry preparation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle job routing, invoicing, invoice distribution, and invoicing of completed jobs.
Update receiving report logs and maintain job listings.
Perform GL reconciliation and manage Work in Progress (WIP) activities.
Handle materials allocation, labour hours, and cost details.
Prepare and manage Statement of Values (SOV) and SOV invoicing.
Prepare, post, and analyze journal entries.
Perform account reconciliations and related accounting activities.
Create and post accruals.
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding process-related inquiries.
Support month-end close activities.
Identify and implement process improvement and transformation initiatives.
Track and report SLA/KPI performance.
