B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance

Experience

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Financial Data Analyst.

Required Skills

Strong domain knowledge of Finance and Accounting.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Willingness to work in rotational and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Research, review, analyze, and interpret financial statements and broker reports of large global companies.
Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, including US GAAP and IFRS.
Capture and classify relevant data points from Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements using financial applications.
Perform transaction-based activities, rule-based decision-making, data verification, formatting, posting, and reporting.
Perform various reconciliations, including system-to-system reconciliation, balancing, and open-item management.
Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of finalized financial statements.
Capture key financial metrics including Revenue, Net Income, EPS, Weighted Average Shares, Income Before Tax, Income Tax, and One-Time Charges.
Capture future estimates and guidance from press releases, earnings calls, and company presentations.
Perform detailed analysis and number crunching across Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
Develop a strong understanding of financial processes, applications, and data workflows.

Candidate Profile

Finance graduate/postgraduate with relevant Financial Data Analyst experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
Good analytical, numerical, and data validation skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
Good written and verbal communication.
Comfortable working in rotational/night shifts.

Important Eligibility

Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
PAN and DOB are required for profile creation.
Minimum 1 year of relevant Financial Data Analyst experience is required.
Candidates must be willing to work in rotational/night shifts.
