Role/Skill: Direct Sourcing Specialist

Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 2–7 Years
Band: BPO 2/3
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA

Role Summary

Support execution of direct sourcing activities for materials and components by managing sourcing events, supplier coordination, commercial analysis, and operational follow-through to meet quality, service, and cost objectives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience Required

2–7 years of experience in Direct Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, or Category Support roles.
Experience in supplier coordination, sourcing operations, and material planning interfaces.
Exposure to procurement processes, supplier management, and commercial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Execute sourcing events for assigned direct categories, including supplier outreach, bid analysis, and negotiation support.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements, technical specifications, and service expectations.
Support supplier evaluation, onboarding documentation, and commercial comparison processes.
Track purchase commitments, delivery schedules, and supply-side issues to ensure continuity of supply.
Maintain sourcing records, supplier databases, contracts, and pricing documentation in line with governance requirements.
Analyze spend, pricing trends, and supplier performance to identify savings and improvement opportunities.
Participate in supplier review meetings and follow up on performance gaps, action plans, and escalations.
Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, delegated authority, and audit requirements.
Support process improvements across requisition, sourcing, and supplier management workflows.
