Role: Delivery Manager – UK Payroll
Location: Chennai
Experience: 12–15 Years
Band: BPO 6
Shift: 12:30 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST (Candidates should be comfortable with night and rotational shifts as required)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with strong expertise in UK Payroll operations and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll processes, client and vendor relationships, large teams, governance, compliance, and multi-country payroll environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end UK Payroll operations including Source to Gross, Gross to Net, Net to Disbursement, and GL processes.
Oversee payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Act as the primary liaison between clients, payroll vendors, internal support teams, and technology teams.
Manage employee payroll queries and escalations through query management systems.
Lead and mentor high-performing payroll teams of 50+ members across multiple locations and countries.
Drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
Conduct regular governance meetings with clients and vendors (weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews).
Support internal and external audits and ensure 100% compliance with payroll controls.
Handle stakeholder management, client communications, and payroll issue resolution.
Coordinate payroll transitions and onboarding of new countries into existing operations.
Liaise with HMRC and other statutory authorities as required.

Eligibility
12–15 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
Experience managing large teams and senior client stakeholders
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
