Business Intelligence Analyst (FP&A)
Location: Chennai
Experience: 3–8 Years
Shift Timing: 12:30 PM – 3:30 AM
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, BI reporting, and data visualization, with the ability to convert complex data into meaningful business insights. You will work closely with finance, business, and IT stakeholders to develop dashboards, automate reporting, and enable strategic decision-making.
Educational Qualification
Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Experience
3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics, or FP&A support
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience in SQL (3–8 years)
Strong understanding of Data Modeling
Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, dashboards)
Strong data visualization expertise
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
Experience with ETL processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, etc.
Strong Excel data modeling and automation skills
Experience in financial reporting and business analytics
Exposure to KPI reporting and dashboard automation
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports
Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
Automate reporting processes and improve existing data workflows
Work with IT and business teams for seamless data integration
Build and enhance reporting solutions to support business decision-making
About FP&A
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is the strategic planning function within Finance that partners with leadership to plan, forecast, analyze business performance, and provide actionable insights. FP&A supports budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, KPI tracking, and executive reporting, enabling informed business decisions.

Location: Chennai
Must be comfortable working 12:30 PM – 3:30 AM shift
