Finance & Accounting Analyst (AP / RTR) – French Language

Experience: 3–6 Years
Location: Chennai, India

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Finance (Mandatory)

Job Summary

TCS is hiring Finance & Accounting professionals with French language proficiency for Accounts Payable (AP) or Record to Report (RTR) roles.

Candidates with relevant experience in either AP or RTR can be considered. Both AP and RTR experience are not mandatory. The candidate's profile will be aligned to the most suitable track based on their experience and CV.

Track 1 – Accounts Payable (AP)

Key Requirements:

End-to-end Accounts Payable process knowledge.
Invoice processing, 2-way / 3-way matching and invoice posting.
SAP AP experience.
Knowledge of AP controls, compliance and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and post invoices accurately.
Resolve invoice exceptions related to price, quantity, tax and duplicates.
Perform vendor reconciliations and GR/IR cleanup.
Support payment proposals and payment runs.
Handle vendor and employee queries.
Support AP activities during month-end closing.

Track 2 – Record to Report (RTR)

Key Requirements:

Strong RTR and accounting fundamentals.
Knowledge of journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
ERP experience, preferably SAP FI.
Understanding of GAAP / IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end and period-end closing activities.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve open items.
Support reporting and variance analysis.
Provide audit support and maintain required documentation.

Common Requirements

French language proficiency – Mandatory (Read, Write & Speak).
Experience in a shared services / BPO environment.
Ability to meet SLAs and process timelines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Eligibility

3–6 years of relevant experience.
Experience in either AP or RTR is mandatory; candidates do not need experience in both.
Graduation is compulsory.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance preferred.
French language proficiency is mandatory.
PAN and DOB are required for employee profile creation in the database.
Former or current TCS / Tata employees are not eligible.
