JOB TITLE: Apigee Developer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Apigee Developer to design, develop, maintain, and manage API solutions using Google Cloud's Apigee platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API proxy development, API security, API Gateway management, and performance optimization.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable API integrations that support business requirements.

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of professional Apigee experience in IT.
• Strong experience with Apigee Edge and API Gateway management.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of API security protocols and access control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must be willing to work on a daily onsite setup in BGC, Taguig.
• Must currently be located in the Philippines and have the legal right to live and work in the Philippines.
• Must not have an active or recent application with Accenture.
• Must not be currently or recently employed with Accenture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop solutions using Apigee Edge.
• Provide software engineering support and maintenance for the Apigee Edge cloud platform.
• Develop patches, bug fixes, and new features as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, bugs, and feature requests.
• Perform triage and prioritize technical issues.
• Maintain and periodically update third-party components and libraries.
• Perform operations and maintenance of data components including Cassandra, Zookeeper, Consul, and PostgreSQL.
• Plan and execute upgrades and updates of platform data components.
• Provide L2 engineering support for data components.
• Troubleshoot Apigee Edge services and customer issues.
• Respond to product-related technical queries.
• Work toward reducing technical debt and improving platform reliability.
• Manage and perform cloud product releases.
• Coordinate with release and provisioning teams for cloud deployments.
• Support development, operations, and maintenance of the Monetization platform.
• Support auxiliary components such as Edge Microgateway and Extensions.
• Provide engineering support and maintenance for Apigee Edge OPDK.
• Troubleshoot Apigee Edge OPDK customer issues.
• Develop patches, bug fixes, features, tools, and services as required.
• Provide PostgreSQL database tuning support.
• Manage and perform OPDK product releases.
• Support development, operations, and maintenance of the Monetization platform.
