As an Indirect Sourcing Manager, you’ll lead the strategy and supplier relationships for everything that keeps the business running—corporate services, IT, facilities, professional services, and beyond. You’ll own category strategies, run complex RFx events, negotiate commercial terms, and drive supplier governance that balances cost, quality, and compliance. What You’ll Do
Category Strategy & Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies across indirect categories, optimizing total cost and service quality. Lead complex RFx events, supplier selection, and contracting end‑to‑end.
Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with functional leaders to understand demand, define requirements, and align sourcing decisions with business outcomes. You’ll be the go‑to advisor for all things indirect procurement.
Supplier Governance: Own supplier scorecards, quarterly business reviews, and performance improvement actions. Drive consolidation, manage demand, and enforce cost controls without compromising service.
Market Intelligence & Analytics: Conduct spend reviews, benchmarking, and market analysis to inform category direction. Use data to spot opportunities for standardization and savings.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure every sourcing activity meets procurement policies, risk controls, contract governance, and audit standards. Resolve supplier service failures, contract deviations, and commercial disputes with a solutions‑oriented mindset.
Financial Planning: Support budgeting and forecasting for major indirect categories, contributing to financial visibility and control.
Team Development: Coach and uplift the sourcing team, embedding best practices, templates, and governance standards across the function.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: 10+ years in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management across non‑production categories (corporate services, IT, facilities, professional services, etc.).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly valued.
Core Skills:
Category strategy & strategic sourcing: Proven ability to design and execute strategies that deliver savings and value.
Commercial negotiation: Confident leading complex negotiations and managing contracts.
Stakeholder engagement: You build relationships, manage expectations, and influence without authority.
Supplier governance & risk management: Track record of managing supplier performance, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance.
Spend analytics & process improvement: You turn data into decisions and streamline sourcing workflows.
Mindset: A results‑oriented leader who thrives in a rotational, flexible shift environment, balancing strategic thinking with operational rigour.
Key Success Measures: You’ll be measured on savings realized, supplier performance, compliance adherence, sourcing turnaround time, stakeholder satisfaction, and category governance effectiveness.
