Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Financial Master Data Management to manage enterprise financial master data, ensuring governance, data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance across Oracle ERP. The role requires expertise in Chart of Accounts (COA), Vendor & Customer Master Data, Business Unit hierarchies, SOX controls, internal audits, and master data governance while collaborating with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Internal Control teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage enterprise Financial Master Data across Oracle ERP systems.
Govern and maintain Chart of Accounts (COA), Business Units (BU), Cost Centers, Departments, and Legal Entity hierarchies.
Create, update, and maintain Supplier and Vendor Master records while ensuring data quality and governance.
Perform Oracle ERP configurations, master data maintenance, mass uploads, and system enhancements using standard Oracle utilities.
Develop, review, and enforce Master Data Governance policies, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and SOX compliance controls.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate master data and documentation.
Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Procurement, IT, and Internal Control teams to resolve data-related issues and improve business processes.
Monitor SLA compliance, quality standards, and operational performance.
Drive continuous process improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–8 years of experience in Financial Master Data Management.
Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP.
Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
Hands-on experience managing Vendor & Customer Master Data.
Strong understanding of Chart of Accounts (COA), Financial Hierarchies, Business Units, and Cost Centers.
Knowledge of Internal Controls, SOX Compliance, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high data accuracy and governance standards.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle FBDI, WebADI, or ADFDI templates.
Oracle ERP enhancement and system optimization.
Data governance and master data architecture.
Financial reporting and data analysis.
Process improvement and automation.
Team management experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
CPA, CFA, or MBA is an added advantage.
Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3).
