Role: SME – CA/CFA

Location: Kolkata / Thane
Experience: 7–10 Years

Educational Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory or
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – Mandatory

Experience

7–10 years of relevant experience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services domain.
Strong expertise in Financial Statement Analysis, Equity/Fixed Income Markets, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Experience working with Capital Market operations, trade lifecycle, or investment research processes.

Required Skills

CA or CFA qualification.
Strong Capital Market domain knowledge.
Advanced analytical capability in evaluating Financial Statements.
Expertise in Ratio Analysis, Trend Analysis, and Comparative Financial Analysis.
Strong understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Stock Market, and Capital Market operations.
Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and/or Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Certifications in Capital or Stock Markets such as NISM, CMSA, or equivalent.
Experience in driving process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to mentor teams and provide domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret financial statements to evaluate company performance and profitability.
Perform ratio analysis, trend analysis, and comparative financial analysis to support business decisions.
Guide teams on the complete trade lifecycle, including order initiation, execution, matching, settlement, confirmation, clearing, and reconciliation.
Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define functional requirements and review BRDs, functional specifications, and system design documents.
Support change management initiatives, training programs, and team performance management through daily reviews and root cause analysis.
Implement process improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence.
Resolve complex business queries and support teams in achieving SLA and quality targets.
Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality reports, and process documentation.
Recommend and implement best practices related to Capital Markets and Financial Analysis.
Simplify complex business problems and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
