Are you passionate about web technologies, website analysis, HTML, XML, JavaScript, and internet research? We're looking for a Processing Analyst (Web Crawler) to join our growing team and support advanced web crawling and website automation projects.
If you enjoy analyzing website structures, troubleshooting web issues, and working with browser developer tools, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Research websites to identify relevant and newsworthy content.
Analyze website structures and identify URLs required for web crawler (robot) configuration.
Configure and maintain web crawlers using client-provided tools and guidelines.
Examine website HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and page structures to ensure accurate crawler setup.
Write simple scripts to resolve website-related issues during crawler configuration.
Utilize browser Developer Tools to inspect website elements and troubleshoot issues.
Identify HTML tags and website content for successful robot configuration.
Communicate with clients to understand business requirements and resolve technical queries.
Manage process tickets and ensure timely issue resolution.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity, and quality.
Meet project deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
Continuously learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2–8 years of experience in website technologies, web research, web crawling, or related technical support roles.
Strong understanding of:
HTML
XML
JavaScript
Website architecture
Browser Developer Tools
Good knowledge of website coding structures and web technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification or coursework in Web Development or related technologies.
Experience with website automation, web crawling, scraping, or bot configuration.
Familiarity with browser inspection tools, DOM elements, and HTML tag identification.
Exposure to scripting languages for website automation is an advantage.
