Group Lead – Master Data Management (MDM)
Location: Pune
Experience: 10–12 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Group Lead – Master Data Management (MDM) to oversee employee master data operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP HCM, Employee Central (EC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), reconciliation, MIS reporting, and Indian labour laws. The role involves managing a team of 15 members, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 15 members across multiple locations.
Oversee end-to-end Employee Master Data Management (MDM) operations.
Perform, monitor, and review MDM transaction processing activities.
Manage employee master data creation, updates, and changes in SAP HCM and Employee Central (EC).
Conduct reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve recurring data issues.
Prepare, review, and publish MIS reports, dashboards, and operational performance reports.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance frameworks.
Maintain adherence to SOX, audit requirements, and applicable Indian labour laws.
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure smooth operations.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10–12 years of relevant experience in Master Data Management, preferably in Employee MDM or HR operations.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Hands-on experience with SAP HCM and Employee Central (EC) – Mandatory.
Proven expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) – Mandatory.
Hands-on experience in reconciliation and MIS reporting.
Strong knowledge and practical experience of Indian labour laws – Mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience managing a team of 15 members across multiple locations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Data Quality and Governance frameworks.
SAP HCM or SAP SuccessFactors certification.
Experience with SOX compliance, audit processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
