General Ledger (RTR) – Finance Payroll Admin

Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 2–5 Years

Education

Graduate with 3–7+ years of experience in Finance Payroll, general bookkeeping, and reporting.

Key Skills

Good command of English with strong communication and analytical skills.
Strong treasury background with ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
Result-oriented approach with good domain expertise.
End-to-end knowledge of general accounting processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

Handle payroll processing for direct and indirect staff.
Perform payroll reconciliations and compile leave requests.
Maintain SG&A trackers and prepare payroll journals.
Process leave salary, air ticket, staff loan/advance, SLPL, and management salary entries.
Perform payroll phasing, payroll tax calculations, and payroll tax integration journals.
Prepare detailed payroll workings for direct and indirect employees.
Update payroll advances and perform payroll accounting and reconciliations.
Prepare, post, and analyze journal entries.
Create and post accruals and perform related accounting activities.
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding queries and inquiries.
Handle month-end close activities.
Identify and implement process improvement and transformation initiatives.
Track and report SLA/KPI performance.
