Job Title: Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR)

Role Overview

TCS is looking for an experienced Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR) to lead end-to-end financial close and reporting operations. The role is responsible for General Ledger governance, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, audit support, intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting, team leadership, and finance transformation initiatives within a shared services/BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and accounting adjustments.
Ensure timely financial reporting and adherence to SLA timelines.
Review trial balances, financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
Manage General Ledger operations and Chart of Accounts governance.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local GAAP.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged reconciling items.
Manage intercompany accounting, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations.
Oversee fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
Lead and develop RTR team members.
Drive process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Procurement, and Business Finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
7–10 years of Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting experience.
Team management experience in Shared Services/BPO/GCC.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms.
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
