Job Description
We are hiring an Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR) to lead end-to-end financial close and reporting activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across accounting processes. The role involves managing a team, driving financial controls, supporting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
Review and approve journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and adjustments.
Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
Oversee General Ledger accounting and maintain the integrity of financial records.
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, fixed assets, payroll, and tax accounts.
Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and eliminations.
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, and impairments.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, SOX, and internal control policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
Lead, mentor, and develop the RTR team while ensuring SLA adherence and operational excellence.
Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, RPA, or digital tools.
Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Procurement, and Business Finance teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
7–10 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting.
Prior experience managing teams in a BPO, Shared Services, GCC, or multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, or PeopleSoft.
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
