Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI & APIM Developer to design, develop, implement, monitor, and optimize enterprise integration solutions using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and SAP API Management (APIM).

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI integration development, API Management policies, Groovy scripting, event-driven architecture, SAP Event Mesh, security standards, and SAP Clean Core principles. The role requires strong technical expertise along with effective collaboration across architecture, development, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

SAP CPI Integration Development

Design and implement integration flows in SAP CPI following SAP Clean Core guidelines.
Develop scalable and resilient integration solutions for enterprise business requirements.
Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, and exception management.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor integration flows to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement transformations, validations, and advanced integration logic using Groovy and JavaScript.

SAP API Management

Develop and manage API proxies, API products, and advanced API Management policies.
Configure and implement API policies for throttling, quota, security, and traffic management.

Scripting & Integration Technologies

Develop Groovy scripts for complex integration logic, transformations, validations, and performance optimization.
Use JavaScript where required for integration and API processing.
Work with integration technologies and protocols including:
- REST
- SOAP
- OData
- IDoc
- SFTP
- JSON
- XML
- XSLT

Event-Driven Integration

Design and implement event-driven integration scenarios.
Integrate solutions using SAP Event Mesh.
Apply appropriate event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
Support scalable and loosely coupled integration architectures.

Security & API Governance

Implement secure API and integration solutions using industry-standard security mechanisms.
Apply security standards including OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL, API Keys, JWT, and Certificates.
Ensure APIs and integration flows comply with security and enterprise architecture requirements.
Collaborate with architects to develop secure, cloud-compliant, and performance-resilient solutions.

Collaboration & Technical Support

Work closely with architects and multi-team stakeholders to deliver integration solutions.
Collaborate on technical design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

College graduate.
5–8 years of relevant professional experience in SAP CPI and SAP API Management.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI integration development.
Proven expertise in SAP API Management policies, including throttling, quota, security, and traffic management.
Strong experience with Groovy scripting for advanced integration logic.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and SAP Event Mesh integration patterns.
Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility best practices.
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
Strong understanding of security standards such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL, API Keys, JWT, and Certificates.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in multi-team environments.
Candidates should demonstrate stable career progression.

Recruitment Process
