The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Japanese Technical Bilingual with a strong background in ASP.NET development to join our growing team in Manila. This role serves as a vital bridge between our technical delivery teams and Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring that complex business requirements are translated into high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Communication: Lead detailed discussions with client functional design leads regarding requirement definitions and function designs in Japanese.

• Knowledge Transfer: Perform knowledge transfer of business requirements and functional designs written in Japanese to local team leaders and members.

• Delivery Management: Explain development status and project issues to client stakeholders in Japanese while adhering to Agile paradigms.

• Quality Assurance: Review technical outputs and translation quality to ensure alignment with requirement designs and acceptance processes.

• Process Optimization: Improve auto-translation processes and collaborate with onshore counterparts to unify functional design descriptions.

• Development: Implement web application solutions for various transactional or automation use cases across On-Premises or Cloud-based platforms.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. (Undergraduates with exceptional language proficiency are encouraged to apply).

• Language Proficiency:

  • Japanese Native or JLPT N1/N2 competency.

  • Candidates with JLPT N3/N4/N5 will be considered only if they possess exceptionally strong technical experience in ASP.NET.

  • Ability to articulate technical ASP.NET concepts fluently in Japanese.

• Technical Experience:

  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience in Web/Application Development using ASP.NET MVC (C#), ASP.NET Core, and Angular.

  • Proficient in Agile team-based delivery.

• Candidate Profile:

  • Must be willing to work in the Philippines.

  • Willingness to accommodate shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must not be a current or former employee of Accenture.

  • Demonstrated professional stability (candidates with a history of staying less than one year per company will not be considered).
