Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Director – Consulting Delivery (Canadian Wealth Management) to lead strategic service delivery, client engagement, and operational excellence initiatives within our Canadian Wealth Management portfolio.
This executive-level role will oversee end-to-end delivery operations, strengthen client partnerships, drive business transformation, and ensure profitable growth within a global BPO/consulting environment.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Canadian Wealth Management, investment operations, portfolio administration, client servicing, and financial services delivery, with proven leadership experience managing North American clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Strategic Leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Canadian clients, business leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by aligning delivery strategies with client business objectives.
- Support strategic account planning, client development initiatives, and business growth opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion, innovation, and improved client outcomes.
- Partner with internal teams to develop solutions that enhance client value.
Operations & Delivery Management
- Lead large-scale service delivery operations across Canadian Wealth Management accounts.
- Ensure operational excellence, SLA achievement, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
- Drive process optimization, automation initiatives, and operational transformation.
- Monitor delivery performance, business metrics, and operational risks.
- Optimize workforce planning, resources, and delivery models for efficiency.
Financial & Business Management
- Manage business performance, financial objectives, and profitability goals.
- Lead financial reviews, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Provide business insights and recommendations for client proposals and strategic initiatives.
People & Leadership Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers and operational leaders.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on engagement, accountability, and excellence.
- Drive succession planning, leadership development, and capability-building initiatives.
- Support talent strategies to improve retention and organizational growth.
Industry Expertise & Innovation
- Apply knowledge of Canadian financial services, wealth management practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market changes.
- Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and strengthen delivery capabilities.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
- Maintain strong risk management practices, data protection, and operational controls.
- Promote quality, security, and compliance across all engagements.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field required.
- Postgraduate degree or certifications in Business, Finance, Management, or related fields are an advantage.
- 12+ years of experience in:
- Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
- Consulting Delivery
- Financial Services Operations
- Wealth Management Operations
- Extensive experience supporting Canadian Wealth Management processes such as:
- Investment Operations
- Portfolio Administration
- Client Servicing
- Regulatory Reporting
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Canadian financial regulations and wealth management practices.
- Experience managing North American clients and multi-geography delivery teams.
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale operations.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
