Job title: QA - Automation Developer (Playwright) and Performance Tester (JMeter) - Mid-Level to Senior Level

Required FTE: 1

Non-Negotiable:

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on Test Automation (Mid to Senior level).

• Playwright Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience building out E2E testing frameworks using Playwright. Deep understanding of modern locators, auto waiting, async/await patterns, and the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.

• JMeter Proficiency: Extensive experience creating sophisticated JMeter scripts. Must be highly skilled in parameterization, assertions, distributed testing, and correlating dynamic values.

• Programming Languages: Strong coding proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python and Shell Scripting.

CGI is seeking a Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in building Playwright E2E frameworks from scratch and executing performance tests using Apache JMeter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale E2E test frameworks using Playwright and execute performance scenarios via Apache JMeter

• Manage test cycles, analyze user stories, evaluate technical feasibility, and track system defects.

• Analyze load behavior and metrics to identify infrastructure bottlenecks

Pre-screening notes:

• How many years of experience do you have in Software Quality Assurance, particularly in Test Automation?

• Years of hands-on experience with Playwright, including E2E testing frameworks and Page Object Model (POM):

• Years of hands-on experience with Apache JMeter, including parameterization, assertions, distributed testing, and correlation of dynamic values:

• Rate your proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript/Python, and Shell Scripting, from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.
