Role: Team Manager - (Disability) Insurance Claims
Required Headcount: 1
Location: TAGUIG / DAVAO
Start Date: Sept. 15
Salary: 50K- negotiable depending on experience
Relocation allowance: 26k one time, 30 days accommodation
Job Description:
As a Team Manager, you will set the path to success by managing performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
You are also expected to:
• Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand their needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
• Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations that would impact the bottom line
• Identify the training needs that will equip the staff with fundamental skills and knowledge
• Have a thorough understanding of the process related to insurance and medical terminologies, various system tools and operational procedures utilized within the program
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis for changes in promotions and updates
• Conduct all defined and required process compliance and adherence to all team members, partners and third-party providers
Qualifications:
Our most successful candidates will have:
• Bachelor's Degree in any course (preferred but not required).
• 2+ years of experience in a similar leadership role.
-Strong leadership to lead a pioneer LOB
• 1-2 years of experience in Disability Insurance Program (required).
-Short Term Disability (STD) intake processing/management
• Relevant experience in Healthcare and Other Insurance (required).
• Familiarity with FINEOS is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team management and problem resolution.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
**BPO experience is required and non-negotiable**
**Reject former or current Sutherland employees**
**Team manager with experience of disability claims**
**2+ years of experience in a similar leadership role.**
**Strong leadership to lead a pioneer LOB**
**1-2 years of experience in Disability Insurance Program in the BPO setting(required).**
**Short-term Disability (STD) intake processing/management**
**Has experience in handling Group Insurance**
**Relevant experience in Healthcare and Other Insurance in the BPO setting (required)**
