Talend Support Consultant/Developer – Senior Level

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Talend Support Consultant/Developer to join the Integration & Distribution Competency Center. The role will focus on designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions using the Talend platform.

The successful candidate will work across diverse business and technology environments to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality integration solutions. This position will also involve production support, troubleshooting, technical documentation, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Talend integration solutions, interfaces, and data workflows.
Support the implementation and delivery of enterprise integration projects.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
Prepare technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation documentation.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams.
Perform unit, integration, and performance testing, including defect investigation and resolution.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Talend jobs and integration workflows.
Provide application maintenance and production support, including incident investigation and resolution.
Develop operational procedures, technical documentation, and support materials.
Ensure compliance with integration standards, security requirements, architecture guidelines, and development best practices.
Contribute to integration architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support knowledge sharing and collaboration within the integration community.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, ETL/ELT development, or middleware technologies.
Hands-on experience developing and supporting Talend integration solutions.
Hands-on experience with Talend Management Console (TMC).
Strong knowledge of Talend Data Integration and Talend Cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration concepts, architecture patterns, and best practices.
Strong experience with Java, SQL/PL-SQL, and scripting technologies.
Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with scheduling, monitoring, and automation tools.
Experience with project/service management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English.
Talend or related integration technology certification is an advantage.
