Role Summary:
Lead AMS governance for SAP landscapes on Google Cloud Platform. Focus on steady-state operations, performance, cost control, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. AMS Governance & Operations: Own architecture governance, ensure SLA/SLO/KPI met, guide L3/L4 support, lead RCA, improve runbooks/SOPs.
2. SAP Landscape Management: Oversee S/4HANA/ECC, BW/4HANA, BTP integrations. Manage system refreshes, client copies, upgrades, patches.
3. GCP Cloud Operations & Optimisation:* Administer Compute Engine, VPC, storage, backups, monitoring, autoscaling. Apply FinOps/cost optimisation.
4. Performance & Reliability Engineering: Optimize SAP HANA, implement HA/DR drills, maintain backup/restore plans.
5. Incident, Problem & Change Management: Align with ITIL processes, lead major incident management, drive problem management, approve changes.
6. Automation & Continuous Improvement: Automate with Terraform + scripting, improve self-healing, monitoring, predictive analytics.
7. Security & Compliance: Enforce IAM, encryption, key management, audit logs, vulnerability management.
8. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as SPOC for AMS, collaborate with SAP/cloud/security teams, conduct service reviews.

Required Skills and Experience
Core Experience: 10-15 yrs IT, 5+ yrs cloud architecture with GCP preferred, strong SAP BASIS + AMS architecture.
SAP Expertise: S/4HANA/ECC ops support, SAP HANA admin + tuning, AMS delivery models.
GCP Expertise: Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, storage/backups, monitoring/logging, HA/DR.
ITSM & AMS Skills: ITIL processes, ServiceNow/Remedy.
Automation & Tools: Terraform, Python/Shell scripting. CI/CD exposure a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: Google Professional Cloud Architect, SAP HANA/BASIS, ITIL certs. RISE with SAP, FinOps exp.

Key KPIs / Success Metrics: SLA adherence, reduction in recurring incidents, performance improvements, cost optimisation targets, automation coverage, successful DR drills, audit compliance.

Notes:
- 24x7 AMS environment, on-call readiness required
- Must have TOR + Diploma
