We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer Lead to drive data integration architecture and execution across enterprise-scale IT initiatives. The role focuses on designing scalable pipelines between diverse data sources and external platforms using SnapLogic, Snowflake, and related technologies, while ensuring smooth collaboration with global teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead data integration design and implementation across multiple systems and data warehouses.
Architect high-performance, reusable workflows for data extraction, transformation, quality improvement, enrichment, and curation.
Drive integrations using SnapLogic, Coalesce, FiveTran, and Snowflake.
Collaborate closely with global teammates to ensure seamless handoffs across regions.
Actively participate in sprint reviews, planning sessions, and architecture discussions.
Promote best practices in metadata-driven design, data governance, documentation, and optimization.
Mentor junior engineers and encourage continuous learning.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and integration issues.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in Data Engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience with SnapLogic and Snowflake.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
Solid understanding of DW ETL/ELT tools; experience with Coalesce and FiveTran is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Python and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Deep knowledge of integration frameworks, REST APIs, and real-time data streaming.
Proven ability to collaborate with global teams across APAC and Western time zones.
Excellent communication skills with cultural agility and stakeholder management expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in ETL/ELT tools, cloud architecture, or data engineering (e.g., SnapLogic, Snowflake, Coalesce, Fivetran, or Cloud certifications).
Experience working in large-scale IT project delivery within distributed environments.
Familiarity with handoffs between India and North America/Europe-based teams.
