Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Lead – APAC Region
Category: ERP/CRM/Tools
Work set up: Hybrid in Taguig (1-2 days/week onsite)
Work shift: Mid-shift
Salary budget: Up to PHP 130,000
Experience: 5+ years
Non-negotiable:
• 5+ years in data engineering, with 2+ years in technical leadership role
• Strong experience with SnapLogic (experience in Snowflake is a great advantage)
• Expert in SQL
• Understanding of DW ETLELT tools
• Experience with Coalesce and FiveTran are nice to have
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Senior Data Engineer Leads based offshore to drive data integration architecture and execution across two enterprise-scale IT initiatives. This role will focus on designing scalable pipelines between client data sources and external platforms using SnapLogic Data Integration and Coalesce, while ensuring smooth global collaboration across regions including EMEA and the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead data integration design and implementation across multiple systems and into DW
• systems using SnapLogic and Coalesce and between Fivetran and SnowFlake
• Architect high-performance, reusable Data Integration workflows including data extraction, transformation, quality improvement as needed, and enrichment/curation
• Facilitate seamless handoffs and collaboration protocols with global teammates and stakeholders
• Participate in planning meetings, sprint reviews, and architecture discussions with global teams
• Champion best practices in pattern-based, metadata driven approach (as appropriate), efficient and optimized data integration design and implementation, proper documentation, data governance, and cross-regional knowledge sharing
• Mentor junior engineers across the region and support continuous learning within the team
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and integration issues across geographies
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years in data engineering, with 2+ years in technical leadership role
• Strong experience with SnapLogic, and Snowflake
• Expert in SQL
• Understanding of DW ETLELT tools and experience with Coalesce (nice to have), FiveTran (Nice to have) Proven track record in global team collaboration, especially across APAC and Western time zones
• Hands-on experience with Python, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Deep understanding of integration frameworks, REST APIs, and real-time data streaming
• Exceptional communication skills with cultural agility and stakeholder empathy
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications in ETL/ELT tools, cloud architecture, or data engineering such as: Google Cloud Professional SnapLogic Certification Coalesce Academy Certification Fivetran Partner Certification Snowflake certification (SNoPro)
• Familiarity with large-scale IT project delivery in distributed environments
• Experience supporting handoffs between India and North America/Europe-based teams
