Senior Data Engineer (Google Cloud Platform - GCP) | Full-Time
Build Scalable Data Platforms on Google Cloud
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. You will build robust batch and real-time data pipelines, manage complex ETL/ELT workflows, and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-based data platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and migration.
Develop high-performance data solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
Orchestrate data workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
Working knowledge of Cloud Spanner is an advantage.
Experience building both batch and real-time streaming data pipelines using Pub/Sub and Dataflow.
Advanced SQL skills with proficiency in Python or Java.
Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging using Google Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and file formats such as Avro, Parquet, JSON, and CSV.

Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer certification.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of GCP security and governance services, including IAM, Cloud KMS, and Cloud DLP
