Senior Azure Data Engineer (Hybrid – Taguig City)
Position ID: J1025-1801 | Category: Software Development / Engineering
Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite) | Location: McKinley, Taguig City
Schedule: Mid to Night Shift | Salary: PHP 90,000 – 120,000 | Experience: 5+ years

Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable): 5+ years as an Azure Data Engineer with at least 1 year in Databricks and PySpark. Strong experience in Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault, Databricks Notebooks, and Azure Data Lake Storage. Proven experience in migration and modernization projects. Skilled in Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL for data pipeline and analytics development. Familiar with Agile methodology and Azure DevOps (CI/CD). Amenable to mid to night shift and hybrid setup in Taguig.
Responsibilities: Design and implement Azure-based storage and ETL solutions (Data Factory, SQL, Data Lake). Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformations in Azure Databricks. Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain production code. Create reusable Databricks components and contribute to solution design. Translate business requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Autosys, batch scripting, Kafka/Solace, Azure Stream Analytics, and Power BI. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
