Monitoring, Observability & Event Management Architect

Location: Hybrid (Philippines)
Work Schedule: Night Shift
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: ₱100,000 – ₱108,000 (Monthly)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Monitoring, Observability & Event Management Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise monitoring and observability solutions. This role is ideal for a highly skilled IT professional with expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, Azure monitoring services, and modern observability platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable monitoring architectures, improve system visibility, automate operational processes, and drive proactive incident management across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise monitoring, observability, and event management solutions.
Design monitoring architectures for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS applications.
Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams across multiple technology domains.
Develop and maintain enterprise standards for monitoring and observability.
Design and integrate alerts with ServiceNow ITOM Event Management and AIOps.
Gather business and technical requirements to deliver scalable and cost-effective monitoring solutions.
Plan and execute software upgrades, automation initiatives, and platform enhancements.
Perform day-to-day architecture and design activities for monitoring platforms.
Drive innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives and automation strategies.
Ensure monitoring solutions support operational excellence, performance optimization, and proactive issue detection.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT monitoring, observability, or related technical roles.
At least 3 years of experience in an IT Architecture role.
Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITOM, including Event Management and AIOps implementation.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Kusto Query Language (KQL), telemetry, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
Experience with automation technologies including Ansible and PowerShell.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
