Job title: Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies Engineer

Location: Onsite in Cebu City, Philippines

Work Schedule: Shifting

Salary Range: Negotiable

About role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support data generation, collection, and processing. The role involves building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes for smooth data migration and deployment across systems.

Experience requirements:

Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience

At least 3 years of hands-on Data Modeling experience

Technical requirements:

Strong background in Dimensional Modeling, 3-NF Modeling, or NoSQL Data Modeling

Experience in at least one Cloud Database Design project

Familiarity with Modern Data Platforms

Experience with data transformation, analytics projects, and data warehousing (DWH)

Involvement in database design across all stages of Data Modeling

Proficiency in at least one major Data Modeling tool such as Erwin, ER Studio, or equivalent

Good to have skills:

Data Vault Modeling

Graph Database Modeling, RDF, Ontology, Semantic Modeling

Document Database Modeling

Understanding of Cloud Analytics and Data Lake design

Cloud Data Engineering and Cloud Data Integration

Knowledge of Data Architecture principles

Professional Skills:

Strong requirement analysis and technical solutioning in data and analytics

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Ability to learn new tools and technologies continuously

Good client-facing and interpersonal skills

Educational requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech)

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

Lead discussions with client teams to understand business and data requirements

Develop data models that align with business objectives

Conduct discovery activities and facilitate design workshops

Create data modeling documentation and secure required sign-offs

Develop solution blueprints, define scope, and assist with project estimations
