Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Sales Training to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact sales training programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing sales team competencies through effective curriculum design, facilitation, and performance support. This role requires a blend of direct sales experience, proven training expertise, and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and update sales training curricula, materials, and performance support tools aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions for sales teams, including new hire onboarding and continuous development programs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trainers.
- Partner with sales leadership to identify skill gaps, define training needs, and measure the impact of training on sales performance and KPIs.
- Manage multiple training projects and coordinate initiatives across different functions.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure training strategy supports organizational goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on sales experience in a corporate or structured sales environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional training experience in a BPO or similar fast-paced operational setting, with a background as a Trainer, Training Supervisor, or Assistant Training Manager.
- Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
