Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will provide technical support for critical business applications, troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high system availability and performance. This is an onsite opportunity based in Manila/Taguig with a shifting work schedule.

Experience : 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting critical business applications.
Provide expert support for applications running on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions for recurring incidents.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Analyze system logs, application performance, and monitoring data to identify problems.
Ensure application stability, availability, and optimal performance.
Support incident management, change implementation, and production deployments.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience supporting applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with DevOps tools and operational support processes.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines.
