Application Support Engineer (GCP) | Manila/Taguig | Onsite

Role: Application Support Engineer (GCP)
Location: Manila / Taguig, Philippines
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Shift: Shifting

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to support and maintain critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and experience with DevOps and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, support, and maintain critical business applications and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and system-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Monitor application logs, performance metrics, and system health.
Support containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Implement best practices for application support, DevOps, and cloud operations.
Contribute to continuous process improvements and operational excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Strong understanding of application support processes and incident management.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Applicants must currently be in the Philippines with valid work authorization.
