Roles and Responsibilities :
Must have skills:
SharePoint Installation and Configuration: Expertise in installing, configuring, and deploying
SharePoint Server, including understanding different Microsoft SharePoint technologies
2010/2013/2019, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0/4.0, SharePoint Designer, SPFx. Portals and
Web Part Development.
Site and Site Collection Administration: Managing SharePoint site collections and individual
sites, including creating and configuring sites, managing permissions and security settings, and
ensuring proper governance and compliance.
Customization and Branding: Knowledge of SharePoint customization techniques, such as using
SharePoint Designer, customizing master pages, page layouts, and creating custom web parts to
meet specific business requirements.
SharePoint Service Application Management: Configuring and managing SharePoint service
applications, including Search, User Profile Service, Managed Metadata, Business Connectivity
Services, and others.
SharePoint Farm and Server Management: Managing SharePoint server farms, including
monitoring and troubleshooting farm health, performance tuning, patching, and upgrading, and
disaster recovery planning.
Backup and Restore: Developing and implementing backup and restore strategies for SharePoint
environments to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Information Architecture and Content Management: Designing and implementing effective
information architecture, including organizing sites, libraries, lists, metadata, and content types.
Managing content lifecycle, versioning, and document management processes.
Workflow and Business Process Automation: Configuring and managing SharePoint workflows
using tools like SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), or
third-party workflow solutions. Automating business processes and integrating with other
systems.
Implementing governance policies and enforcing security measures in SharePoint, including
defining permissions and access control, managing SharePoint groups, and ensuring compliance
with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnosing and resolving SharePoint-related issues, such as
performance problems, connectivity errors, configuration conflicts, or user access problems.
Providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with other IT teams as needed.
PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting to automate administrative tasks,
perform bulk operations, and manage SharePoint configurations and settings.
Experience with implementing best practice SharePoint information architectures, workflows,
and mobile applications.
Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures Triggers.
Experience integrating with backed operational and content management systems.
Experience working on component-based applications including web services, application
integration, patterns, and data access development.
Experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack including .Net Framework, C#, VB.Net,
ADO.Net, ASP.Net.
Experience with
Experience with web development technologies HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, Flash, CSS, Ajax,
jQuery, JavaScript, SOAP/XML Web Services, and Silverlight
Experience with Web/Portal structure and design, development, content management,
usability, user experience interface design and navigation.
Good to have skills:
Experience with utilizing source management control tools for managing development, staging,
test, and production environments.
Maintenance and deployment of the MS Windows OS ( Physical / virtual)
Expert Windows based servers running in a mixed physical and virtual environment.
Responsible for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of complex Windows environments
(e.g., clustering, high availability, load balancing, etc.).
